This relates to my trip to visit Isy in Belgium:
This house is particularly interesting. Most of the older houses in the French part of Belgium have A-line apex roofs. This one does not. It was 'decapitated' during the second world war to prevent airplanes from crashing into it during black-out when lights would not have been permitted on the roof.
