On the way home from visiting the tomb described in my last post, we stopped at an upmarket coffee house. This was to be my experience of a green tea latte:

These desserts are very interesting. At the bottom is chipped ice. On top is an assortment of fruit. On this one the 'sauce' over it is a sweet bean mixture. As one eats, the juices of the fruit and the 'sauce' mix with the melting ice, which makes from a light, sweet drink at the bottom should one choose to consume it. There is no waste in Korea, and eating etiquette is flexible enough to cater for this.
